Mr. Richards serves as Chairman of Frozen Specialties, Inc.; Lavo, Inc.; Liberty Brand Products, Inc.; Ideal Snacks, Inc.; Pineridge Bakery, Inc., and is the past Chairman of Eagle Pack Pet Foods, Inc.; Nonni's Food Company, Inc.; S.T. Specialty Foods, Inc., and is a Director of Applegate Farms, LLC; Kooba Holdings, LLC, and a past Director of Prestige Brands. Before co-founding SPC in 1996, he directed the private equity investment program in consumer products for William E. Simon & Sons. Earlier in his career, Mr. Richards was an investment banker at PaineWebber, Inc., where he specialized in emerging growth companies. Mr. Richards received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB degree cum laude from Harvard University.
