Mr. DesMarais is currently a Director at Lavo, Inc.; Marketfare Foods, Inc.; and Raj Manufacturing, LLC, and he is a past Director of S.T. Specialty Foods, Inc. Mr. DesMarais also works closely with Applegate Farms, LLC., Liberté Brand Products, Inc. and Prepared Meal Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining SPC in early 2005, he was a Principal with Banc of America Securities’ Consumer & Retail Group in its investment banking division. Mr. DesMarais’ experience also includes Deutsche Banc Alex Brown's Global Consumer Products investment banking team and several operating positions within Sara Lee Corporation. He received an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg) and a BS degree from Michigan State University. Mr. DesMarais is also a Certified Public Accountant.
